Welcome to Clean Plus Services! These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of our cleaning services, including but not limited to commercial, residential, and industrial cleaning, as outlined in our quotes, invoices, and written agreements. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. Please review them carefully before confirming your booking.

1. Pricing

  • All prices provided in the quote are exclusive of GST. The applicable GST amount is added under the GST column in the quotation.
  • The quoted price includes all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals required to complete the job unless otherwise stated.
  • The price is based on the information provided at the time of quoting. Any additional work or changes in the scope of services that are not initially agreed upon may result in a revised quote.
  • Any extra charges for services outside the initial agreement will be communicated and require client approval before proceeding.
  • On-Site Adjustments: If, upon starting the job, it is determined that additional time, services, or resources are required to complete the work to the agreed standard, these adjustments will be communicated to the client on the day of service. Verbal agreements regarding these adjustments will be documented via email, SMS, or a written acknowledgment to ensure clarity. The client acknowledges and agrees to pay for any additional costs incurred, which will be invoiced accordingly.
  • Unforeseen Additional Time: If the job exceeds the estimated hours due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., the need for extra care to avoid property damage), the additional time required will be charged at the agreed hourly rate. These charges will be discussed and approved with the client during the service to avoid any misunderstandings.

2. Quote Validity

  • Quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issue unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • Additional charges may apply for extra services not listed in the quote or communicated in writing.
  • If the job is not confirmed within the validity period, Clean Plus Services reserves the right to revise the quote.
  • All quotations are sent via email as our system only supports email delivery. However, a PDF version of the quote can be provided upon request.

3. Payment Terms

  • Payment is required upon completion of the once-off jobs.
  • For regular services, payment is due within 7 days from the date of the invoice.
  • Late payments may incur a fee of 10% of the outstanding balance. This fee is applied to compensate for administrative costs, time spent on follow-ups, and potential disruptions caused by delayed payments. The late payment fee will be added to the invoice if the payment is not received by the due date specified.
  • If payment is not received after three friendly reminders, Clean Plus Services reserves the right to forward the client’s details to a debt collection agency. Any additional fees incurred as a result of the debt collection process will be added to the outstanding balance. Clean Plus Services is not liable for any additional charges imposed by the debt collection agency.
  • Payment can be made via accepted payment methods as outlined on the invoice (e.g., bank transfer, credit card, cash).

4. Service Scope

  • The services included are as outlined in the quote and/or written agreement. Any additional tasks requested that fall outside the agreed scope of work may incur extra charges.
  • Clean Plus Services does not handle specialised cleaning tasks such as pest control, biohazard removal, or heavy-duty industrial cleaning unless explicitly agreed upon in advance.
  • For areas requiring specific cleaning due to hazardous materials, the client must disclose this information before booking. Failure to do so may result in additional fees or cancellation of services.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 48 hours notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling of a service.
  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee of $50 or 10% of the quoted price.
  • Clean Plus Services reserves the right to reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances such as staff illness or emergencies. If staff illness or other unforeseen events occur on the scheduled day, resulting in short staffing, Clean Plus Services will notify the client as early as possible. In such cases, we will work with the client to reschedule the job to a suitable alternative date or, if rescheduling is not feasible, cancel the job and refund any deposit paid. While we may recommend an alternative cleaning company, this is a referral only and not guaranteed.

6. Access, Parking, and Utilities

  • Clients must provide safe and clear access to the property during the scheduled cleaning time. Areas blocked by heavy furniture or equipment may not be cleaned unless the client moves these items before the cleaning service. Clean Plus Services staff will not handle valuable items or heavy furniture to avoid potential damage or injury.
  • If on-site parking is unavailable, the client must notify us in advance. Delays caused by parking difficulties, such as needing to park far from the property, may result in additional charges if the service is billed per hour.
  • The client is responsible for ensuring utilities such as water and electricity are available for the duration of the service. Delays or disruptions caused by the lack of utilities may incur extra charges.
  • After the client moves out any heavy furniture or valuable items, if the areas remain uncleaned by Clean Plus Services staff, it is their responsibility to ensure these areas are cleaned to the agreed standard.
  • Cleaning windows from the outside on two- or three-story houses does not fall under standard cleaning services. This is considered a specialised cleaning service and requires a separate quotation. Clients must inform Clean Plus Services of this requirement before accepting the quote, as pricing and scheduling may vary.

7. Liability

  • Clean Plus Services takes all reasonable precautions to prevent damage during the cleaning process. However, we are not liable for damages to fragile, unsecured, or pre-existing damaged items unless explicitly disclosed and agreed upon prior to the service.
  • The client must inform Clean Plus Services of any items requiring special care or attention before the commencement of the job. Fragile items such as hanging photo frames or decorations must be cleared or secured prior to cleaning. If such items are not cleared, our team will not clean those areas to avoid potential damage.
  • Clean Plus Services staff will follow extra precautions when cleaning around fragile or unsecured items, but we cannot guarantee against accidental damage in these situations due to their delicate nature. This is particularly relevant for general cleaning processes where fragile items are frequently encountered.
  • Clean Plus Services is not responsible for delays or disruptions caused by circumstances outside our control, such as extreme weather, emergencies, or access issues.

8. Satisfaction Guarantee

  • If you are not satisfied with the service, please notify Clean Plus Services within 24 hours of service completion. We will take the following steps to address your concern:
    • Conduct a review of the issue based on the feedback provided.
    • If a legitimate oversight is identified, we will arrange for a follow-up cleaning service free of charge to rectify the issue.
  • If the issue cannot be resolved with a follow-up service, Clean Plus Services will discuss potential alternatives, which may include a partial refund, depending on the circumstances.
  • Claims made after the 24-hour period may not be eligible for resolution or compensation. Additional charges may apply for follow-up services requested after this period.

9. Health and Safety

Health and safety are our top priorities, ensuring a secure and hygienic environment for both our clients and staff. We adhere to stringent health and safety protocols tailored to the specific needs of each space, with particular care taken in sensitive environments such as medical facilities, aged care homes, gyms, and childcare centres.

10. Privacy Policy

  • Clean Plus Services values your privacy and will only use personal information for service delivery, invoicing, and communication purposes.
  • Personal details will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law or to facilitate debt collection if necessary.

11. Acceptance of Terms

  • By accepting the quote and proceeding with the service, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
  • Clean Plus Services reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions without prior notice. The latest version is available upon request.
